Kiss’ End of the Road Tour’s final date in their hometown NYC at Madison Square Garden. I was hired to photograph this event from a different perspective than simply the live performance. My credentials enabled me access to MSG and the Official Kiss Pop Up Shop and Museum to capture the passionate fans and the feverish hype surrounding this monumental event. I found myself amidst a tapestry of raw emotions and uncontainable excitement. The fans, adorned in iconic Kiss attire, exuded an unparalleled energy, a blend of nostalgia and fervor that echoed the band’s 50 year legacy. The hype leading to the final shows included lighting up the Empire State Building, yellow cabs wrapped in Kiss glamour, the mayor declaring a Kiss day, special Kiss metro tickets, New York Post covers and more.
